Yes, Apple and Adobe make more money if they sell direct, but the 30% isn't the biggest cut they've ever seen. That doesn't stop Apple or Adobe from selling through Amazon and other retailers. ![]() If you have ever sold a retail product, the middlemen (distributors etc.) traditionally take 50% from your retail price. Sure, Apple takes 30%, but that never stopped anyone.
